Hi Gary,
Yes the speed of information getting around the world now is incredible! And yes even though what you’re saying is true with regard to bad write ups, etc, we really need to see a bigger picture, I believe.
A picture where we move on from the “dog eat dog” paradigm into a far more co-operative way of being in the world, whether that is the commercial world, personal world, virtual world or whatever. Ultimately if someone speaks with truth and integrity, yes they may get a “bad” write up but in the long term people will know them for what they are – namely a person of truth and integrity.
In the end this is always what will win out. All you have to do is look around the world to see this happening, those who tried to manipulate the masses for their own benefit are reaping their harvest, which is the end of their regimes.
So let’s not be motivated by a “fear” of getting a bad write up on social media, let’s be motivated by humanities greatest values – truth, integrity, loyalty, trust, peace, love, sharing and any other positive human value you can think of.
Let’s use social media to create a better world for all. Will we get bad write ups now and then? Absolutely! But let’s keep going anyway and positively us whatever technologies are the latest trends!
Let’s “pay attention” to what really matters for the benefit of us all!
