   WOW! Oh my dearest Usher,
   You are my icon of hope for us… the minority.
   I just sent my first born to UCSC (University of California Santa Cruz CA), and I can’t express my pride enough coming from a poor family. My mother (now deceased) was the Pocahontas of her Mexican family, who was a very traditional coming from Mexico. My dear Mother decided to break all her barriers by migrating to a boarder near state. Then, a few years later my Mother and I migrated to the “Land of the Free”, the United States. There’ I was eager to not only learn the language but also learn the ways of the Americans.
   I broke yet another cycle by leaving my own chalenging suroundings in Los Angeles to give my own children a better hope for their future.
   Now, my first born is at a UNIVERSITY. Her dreams are to create a camp for underprivilaged kids with talent in the fine arts, and I am a commited Mother who will to help her… help others change thier lives as you have.
   You are my Icon of HOPE… Usher, keep thriving!
